Welcome — I'm so glad you're here.
I'm Heather, a licensed professional counselor and the facilitator for the H.E.A.R.T. Support Group for Women. If you are a woman who has experienced the trauma of betrayal in your intimate marriage or relationship — if your spouse or partner has been keeping sexual secrets, is dealing with sex or pornography addiction, or you have discovered an affair — I am glad you found this page.
Like many women, you are likely experiencing feelings of shock, anger, confusion, and heartbreak. The H.E.A.R.T. Group is a place of healing, support, and connection for women who have been wounded by betrayal. The cornerstones of our group are connection, confidentiality, and compassion.

WHAT IS THE H.E.A.R.T. GROUP?
You don't have to heal from betrayal alone.
Betrayal is one of the most isolating things a woman can experience. You may feel like the people around you don't really understand — or that you can't fully let them in. The confusion, the grief, the anger, the loss of trust in yourself and others — it's a lot to carry alone.
The H.E.A.R.T. Group brings together a small, carefully selected group of women who are navigating the same experience — in a safe, structured, confidential setting that I personally facilitate as a certified Associate Partner Trauma Therapist.
This is not a general support group. It is a clinically guided program with a clear 12-week curriculum and evidence-based tools built specifically for betrayal trauma recovery. You will not walk through this alone — that is exactly what this group was created for.

Betrayal is isolating. Most women feel like no one in their life truly gets it. In this group, you will be with women who do — and that changes everything.
Confidentiality
Everything shared in our group stays in our group. Period. This is a space where you can be completely honest without worrying about what happens outside these walls.
Compassion
You have probably been harder on yourself than you deserve. In this group we leave judgment at the door — for yourself and for each other.

Enrollment closes after Week 2 to protect the safety, trust, and cohesion of the group

Complete a pre-group assessment to apply. I'll follow up with three available times for a 15-minute consultation — this ensures every woman in the room is ready and that the group is the right fit for her right now.

How the process works
The H.E.A.R.T. Group uses a simple, caring acceptance process to make sure every woman who joins is ready and that the group is the right fit for where she is right now. Here's exactly what happens after you apply:
Complete the pre-assessment questionnaire
Fill out the short questionnaire — it helps me understand your experience and where you are in your healing journey right now

Heather personally reviews your questionnaire
Heather will read every response herself and reach out within 48 hours via email with next steps

Schedule your 15-minute Zoom call
Heather will send you three available times to choose from for a brief, relaxed call to connect, answer your questions, and confirm readiness for the group

Upon acceptance, receive your welcome email
Once accepted, you'll receive a warm welcome email with your group confirmation, enrollment paperwork, and everything you need to get started
