YOU DON’T HAVE TO FEEL THIS WAY FOREVER
When anxiety becomes the background noise of your life.
Maybe it started as stress that never quite went away. Or maybe something happened — a betrayal, a loss, a season of caring for everyone else — that left your nervous system running on high alert even when things are calm on the outside.
You might look fine to everyone around you. But on the inside you're exhausted, overthinking, bracing for the next thing to go wrong, and wondering why you can't just relax.
Anxiety is not a character flaw. It's often your nervous system's response to real experiences — and with the right support, it can change.
DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?
You may be experiencing anxiety if…
Your mind won't slow down
Racing thoughts, worst-case scenarios, and replaying conversations keep you up at night
You can't stop worrying
About your kids, your relationships, your future — worry feels like a full-time job
Your body feels it as well
Tension, shallow breathing, a tight chest, or a stomach that's always in knots
You feel overwhelmed and behind
Like no matter how much you do, you can never quite catch up or feel on top of things
You're always bracing
Waiting for something to go wrong even when things seem okay — hypervigilance has become your normal
You're exhausted but can't rest
Even when you have time to relax, your mind and body don't know how to slow down
WHERE ANXIETY COMES FROM
Your anxiety makes sense—Here’s why.
For many of the women I work with, anxiety is deeply connected to their experiences and circumstances — not just a chemical imbalance or something they were born with. Understanding where your anxiety comes from is the first step toward real, lasting relief.
Common sources of anxiety in the women I work with include:
⏺ Betrayal trauma and the aftermath of infidelity
⏺ Difficult or painful relationship patterns
⏺ Loss of identity or sense of self
⏺ Years of caretaking and putting everyone else first
⏺ Past trauma or chronic stress
⏺ Major life transitions or uncertainty
HOW I CAN HELP
A structured, trauma-informed approach to anxiety relief
Anxiety treatment isn't one-size-fits-all. I work with each client to understand what's driving their anxiety and create a personalized approach to address it at the root — not just manage the symptoms.
01
Calm your nervous system
Building regulation skills so your body learns it's safe to slow down
02
Understand the root
Identifying what's driving your anxiety — whether trauma, patterns, or circumstances
03
Process what's underneath
Using EMDR, IFS, and trauma-informed approaches to address anxiety at its source
04
Break anxious patterns
Identifying and gently replacing thoughts and behaviors that keep anxiety alive
05
Rebuild trust in yourself
Restoring confidence in your own instincts, judgment, and ability to handle what comes
06
Create lasting relief
Moving from managing anxiety to genuinely feeling at ease in your own life
ANXIETY AND BETRAYAL TRAUMA
When anxiety is rooted in betrayal.
For many of the women I work with, anxiety isn't free-floating — it's deeply connected to the experience of betrayal. The hypervigilance, the racing thoughts, the inability to trust or relax — these are often direct responses to a partner's infidelity, deception, or broken trust.
If your anxiety feels tied to a relationship wound or betrayal experience, specialized betrayal trauma therapy can address both at the same time — calming your nervous system while processing the deeper pain driving it.

A note from Heather"
“Anxiety is one of the most common reasons women come to see me — and one of the most treatable. I've seen women who have lived with anxiety for years find genuine relief once we understand what's driving it and address it at the root. You don't have to keep living this way”.
